Coloured pencil on paper
This "Totem" was created with Sharpie Pens for a special project. Totem poles made by the Squamish people in Canada incorporated animals associated with individual tribes and families. They tell the stories and history of the tribes. This picture was an attempt to recount the biblical "story" using animals used to represent people and events in the scriptures. The red and black is in an attempt to be in keeping with the style of the First Nations Squamish people who lived around the Vancouver area of Canada.
